Club nights Our club is very friendly and welcomes new members when we have spaces (see information to right). On club nights, we mostly play doubles but depending on numbers, we will occassionally play singles. There is no membership fee so members can come along as often or as rarely as they choose on a "pay as you play" basis. We charge a fee of £5 for each club night. Our club nights are intended to be fun. There is no pre-determined selection of games in advance. We will ocassionally have fun competitions on club nights.

 Want to join us? There are no Club nights during July or August but the weekly Club nights will resume from Monday 6 September 2010. League matches are expected to resume in October. Please contact us if you would like to join or visit the Club. |
What do you need to bring? All you need to bring is shoes with non-marking soles and clothing suitable to wear for playing badminton. There are changing rooms and showers at the Glenearn Community Campus if you wish to use them. Most of our members bring their own badminton racquet but it is possible to borrow a racquet from the Glenearn Community Campus. Shuttlecocks, stands and nets are all supplied so you don't need to worry about any of those. We always play with feather shuttlecocks. Would you like more info?
